First Friday - Line Dancing
First Friday is back June 5th from 5pm-9pm in Downtown and we’re excited to welcome 8CountCountry, who will be teaching FREE line dancing from 6pm–8pm in the Broad Street Parking Lot (that’s the small lot next to the flags).
Whether you’ve never danced a step or you’ve got a few moves up your sleeve, this is your chance to jump in, learn something new, and have a blast.
Not much of a dancer? No problem—bring a lawn chair, sit back, and enjoy the show.

Stars Stripes & Storefronts
This summer, we’re excited to launch Stars, Stripes & Storefronts — a patriotic storefront decorating celebration in conjunction with Memorial Day, July’s First Friday, Independence Day festivities, and America’s 250th anniversary celebration.
Local businesses will be transforming their storefronts with festive displays, and photos of each decorated storefront will be shared on our social media pages for the public to vote on their favorite.
Be sure to stroll through our downtown districts and cast your vote in our community storefront decorating online contest! Everyone who casts a vote will also be entered for a chance to win $50 in Downtown Dollars to spend at participating downtown businesses.
The winning business will earn bragging rights along with a prestigious award to proudly display in their store for all to admire.
