Join us in Downtown Fuquay-Varina on Friday, July 3, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM for another exciting First Friday celebration!
Enjoy late-night shopping, dining, and entertainment as businesses throughout both downtown districts stay open late. Stroll the streets, explore your favorite local shops, and take advantage of the Downtown Social District while you sip, shop, and stroll.
THIS MONTH’S EVENTS:
This month we’re excited to be collaborating with The Fuquay Writing Music & Film Society to bring you an evening of live music in the Broad Street Parking Lot from 6-9pm. Feel free to bring a lawn chair, sit back and relax into First Friday!
Musician’s Line Up:

While you're out enjoying the evening, don't forget to take a stroll through our downtowns and vote for your favorite decorated storefront in our Stars, Stripes & Storefronts decorating contest! Everyone who casts a vote will be entered for a chance to win $50 in Downtown Dollars to spend at participating downtown businesses.
Transportation options will be available throughout the evening to help you easily travel between both downtown districts, making it simple to experience everything First Friday has to offer.

Stars, Stripes & Storefronts
This summer, we’re excited to launch Stars, Stripes & Storefronts — a patriotic storefront decorating celebration in conjunction with Memorial Day, July’s First Friday, Independence Day festivities, and America’s 250th anniversary celebration.
Local businesses will be transforming their storefronts with festive displays, and photos of each decorated storefront will be shared on our social media pages for the public to vote on their favorite.
Be sure to stroll through our downtown districts and cast your vote in our community storefront decorating contest! Everyone who casts a vote will be entered for a chance to win $50 in Downtown Dollars to spend at participating downtown businesses.
To enter just look out for the Vote for Us QR code in participating stores. You can also vote via Facebook and Instagram from June 5th.
The winning business will earn bragging rights along with a prestigious award to proudly display in their store for all to admire.
VOTING CLOSES 9AM MONDAY JULY 6th - Winners will be announced mid July on our social media pages.
