Cash Mobs is a new movement aimed at supporting local businesses and rebuilding communities. A Cash Mob is a Flash Mob, but instead of singing, dancing or rioting, Cash Mobbers join together and each spends $20 at a local business.

Our First Cash Mob was held March 24 at David Anthony's.

The impact:

• The 1 hour event made up 75% of her total sales of the day
• 45 transactions during the hour
• $36.00 was the average transaction rate
• $1,620.00 in sales for the ONE HOUR time frame
