The Fuquay-Varina Downtown Revitalization Association is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the thriving business and residential historic districts of Fuquay-Varina, NC. We promote preservation, educate the public, support the business environment and grow community
The FVRA is funded through public and private donations. The Town of Fuquay-Varina provides $40,865 towards the Associations funding.
There are lots of ways to get involved in helping downtown. The work of the Association is carried out through the four committees listed below. Perhaps one of them will spark your interest! Please share your time and talent with the Fuquay-Varina Downtown Revitalization Association!

Vision: Fuquay-Varina Downtown is the center of the community where the rich heritage of mineral springs, trains and tobacco markets has evolved into two unique downtown districts linked by history. We bring together a vibrant community, cultural experiences and government services to grow and maintain a sustainable local economy. Our downtowns offer a cool mix of independent businesses and celebrations in an engaging, walkable environment.

Implementation Strategy: We maintain our status as a NC Main Street community and a National Main Street accredited program through the implementation of the Main Street Four-Point Approach® which includes: organization, design, promotion and economic restructuring.

The Design Committee endeavors to enhance the visual quality of the downtown.

The Design Committee meets the first Thursday of each month at 8:00 am at the FVRA office at 108 Raleigh Street.
The Economic Restructuring Committee strengthens the existing economic assets of the business district while diversifying its economic base.

Economic Restructuring meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month, 8:30 am at the FVRA office located at 108 Raleigh Street.
The Promotions Committee re-establishes downtown as a compelling place for shoppers, investors and visitors.
